Hi everyone! I know its been a while since the last update but things have been pretty busy here at DQ-HQ. Lots of news to post about and update everyone on so lets get started!

So the biggest news first. DrunkQuest is now being produced by Ninja Division! We at Loot Corps have been running DrunkQuest for over 3 years now and while we've grown and expanded as much as we could there's only so much we can do on our own. Ninja Division will help us take DrunkQuest to the next level! Full retailer distribution, they've got their own manufacturing contacts as well as the ability to be at tons more conventions then we can still working our day jobs.

This won't change anything for you the backers, though Ninja Division has agreed to help handle fulfillment which should help us to get all the packages out at a quicker pace.

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to post them below but I can answer the one I think will be asked the most...

What about Founders/Platinum Members?!: I hear you and don't worry. Nothing will change for you and your perks are still valid including the promos each year!

Formerly Bottomless Realms we felt that both sets of new base cards would be more easily identified under the same banner so! They're now both Last Call HEROES and REALMS. So lets take a look at the new Realms...

Now that you've had a look lets talk a bit about the changes and ideas that went into the redesign of Last Call Realms. First and most obvious is the change from Portrait to Landscape. This was done for a few reasons, the new layout allows our naturally wide realm sigils to sit larger on the card and the ability to sit nicely in its own banner but also as a certain backer pointed out, your hero now can sit on the left letting your realm power protrude to the right and take up less table space!

Another thing that was a drastic change was the way that the Realms work. Almost all the normal Realms offer a bonus when someone has taken over or under a certain amount of drinks. This works fine and is simple to remember but with Last Call we really wanted each Realm to feel like it has its own personality and unique ability. What are your thoughts?

Lastly, now that Ninja Division has taken over the heavy lifting on DrunkQuest we've been able to finally go full swing into our next game! (note: the logo is not final). Lets take a look at a few of the cards...

What is Tavernin? Its what adventurers play between quests! In Tavernin the dealer selects 4 classes at random to make up that rounds deck. Each player then puts in their ante and is dealt 5 cards. The object is to create a team of 3 with the highest value with the rounds working similar to poker. (ante, deal, bet, discard, draw, bet, call). Tavernin will start with 8 "suits" but can be expanded with more classes to add even more variety to the game. (think Dominion or Smash-up style replayability). There will be plenty more about Tavernin as we make our way through beta. If you want to follow along with the testing and even give us some feedback please "like the Facebook Page.

The next update will come a lot sooner and will be near 100% about Black Label. I'm really excited to show you guys some of the cards included in the set and talk about the design changes that went into it. Stay tuned!

PS: If you've recently moved and need to update your address you can login at any time to Backerkit.com and update it there. I wont' lock down the mailing addresses until we're a few days away from shipping.

Last Call
over 10 years ago – Fri, Dec 04, 2015 at 10:24:16 PM

Hi everyone! We're still missing a few surveys. If you haven't received the Backerkit link in your email please comment below. I'll be sending out reminders over the next few days to hopefully get the last few people submitted!

I also wanted to show off the finished versions of all our Last Call heroes that were unlocked as a Stretch Goal! Below you can see all 8 of the redesigns as well as their new abilities. Last Call Heroes are meant to be the endgame versions of the original heroes that came in the first version of DrunkQuest. Their abilities reflect their high level skill and their redesigns show off the experience they've gained while questing over the years, please let us know what you think!

In the next update we'll be showing off all our Bottomless Realms and in the coming months we'll be showing off the Black Label edition as well as some other announcements, stay tuned!

Surveys!
over 10 years ago – Sun, Oct 18, 2015 at 03:18:42 PM

You should be receiving surveys pretty soon. We'll be using BackerKit, their backend accommodates all our needs for the Boozaar and Black Label! It also allows those who missed the campaign to still pledge.

Stay tuned for more updates as we move into production. We'll be showing off more of Porcelain Gods and Black Label!

The Final Countdown

Thank you all for an awesome campaign and the continued support of DrunkQuest! Without your help we couldn't continue to make this awesome game!

For those of you who are baking in the final minutes make sure you share the campaign immediately on your social media in order to receive the Karl Redpath card.

And last I want to mention that Drinking Quest and DrunkQuest are two separate games. The first is a cooperative table top RPG and ours is a competitive card game. Though both are equally awesome.
