Hey everyone, after a long, crazy road it's finally started. Shipping began yesterday and the assembly line will continue until all backer rewards are sent!
The Ninja Division team will be getting all packages ready as well as emailing out tracking numbers. I'll make another post once shipping has finished but as always, if there's anything you're wondering about please post it below and i'll answer, thanks!
GenCon Pledge Pickup!

Hi everyone!
So, just a quick update. Ninja Division has confirmed that they'll have stuff in time to take stock to GenCon and fulfill backer pledges!
Just bring your ID and in your Backerkit.com pledge you'll see a Pledge Number its 7 digits. If you can have that as well it'll be quicker to get your stuff!

Hello everyone! After an unacceptable amount of time its finally happening. All products are on a ship headed stateside and we are just a few weeks away from the first packages being sent out. Everything will arrive in 14 days to the port in LA. From there it'll take 4 days to be shipped to Colorado where the Ninja Division's warehouse is. Once it arrives Ninja Division has ensured me it'll only take a week for ALL packages to be sent out. International included.
Because the delivery bumps up against GenCon, Ninja Division is hoping to bring stuff with them and allow backers who attend to simply pick up their pledges in person. They're still working on logistics for it and I will keep you posted as soon as I hear what's decided.
Everyone should have just received an email from BackerKit asking them to finalize their shipping address. If you did not, please post in the comments and I will manually attempt to resend. Check your spam folder though just in case as it was sent out en masse and could have been filtered.
The email says 48 hours notice but I will not lock it down for 5 days to give everyone ample time to make adjustments.
The Porcelain Gods tin looks great and just like our other new tins, it's stackable! The cards came out great too. The new printer did a great job of color matching. The best yet that I've used. So everything is 1to1 match with my PSDs. Very happy with how everything turned out.
Black Label looks so good! I know all DQ products are my babies but every parent has a secret favorite and Black Label is mine. The saturation on the plastic cards came out fantastic. I was worried the plastic would cause the colors and boldness of the black to look sun faded or lose contrast but that was not the case at all, here's the cards up close...
Clear, glossy and most importantly... water resistant.
The Kegerator box art got some love with a new design based off our Kegerator Boss monster! If you look closely at the insert you'll see we have enough room for all our base game, all our promos as well as room for 3 expansions.

That's all for now but i'll be posting an update again when everything arrives at Ninja Division and again once I know if they'll be bringing everything to GenCon for pickup.
I cannot tell you guys how sorry I am for how long this has taken. And how thankful I am for the patience and consideration you've shown me as we've gone through this insanity. There are changes coming in the near future that will ensure this disaster never happens again and I'm looking into a few options as to how I can say sorry/thank you in a more tangible way.

Hello all, I wanted to give an update on where everything's at and show off a few pictures. Now that manufacturing is well under way and we've got the packaging issues sorted out we're moving along much smoother.
We had a hold up with both the Kegerator and Black Label box being... well just terrible. So it took us a few weeks to get manufacturing to correct their mistakes and now its back on track.

I'll be posting more photos as new items come in and are wrapping production. I apologize that once again, we've missed our estimated shipping date, Ninja Division is doing as much as they can to prioritize getting this Kickstarter fulfilled and it seems like all of the issues are behind them. So while things are progressing and the issues are shrinking there is still a big ? about what happens next which brings me to...
This is long and only necessary to read if you're looking for insight into the behind the scenes.
For those of you who've backed other DrunkQuest projects I've done or have met me at conventions, you know that I feel the best way to be with people who support me is transparent. My opinion is that if you are all just as informed as I am, then even if you disagree or are upset, you will at least know exactly where I'm coming from and have a full understanding of the situation. And it's because of that opinion I wanted to be open about where Loot Corps is at in relation to Ninja Division:
At the end of this month i'll pass the point of no return with Ninja Division. Up until May 30th if I cancel my contract with them (giving them 90 days notice that our contract is void) I still have enough funds to return all of my inventory, get it back to Vegas and begin shipping myself. This will of course come with its own challenges and setbacks and will invariably delay delivery even further as Ninja Division has a team of 20+ people and Loot Corps has, ...well it's just me.
However if I let Ninja Division remain the producer for DrunkQuest after May 30th and they somehow manage to mishandle things further, I'll be stuck. Even if I do cancel the contract I will only have enough funds to return all the inventory to Vegas but there will be nothing left to ship out backer rewards. The fallout from that happening, I imagine, will basically mean the end for me in an industry I love and have worked so hard to squeeze into.
So. It's May 19th now and, after speaking with Ninja Division earlier this week, informing them of this very thing. We have a roadmap in place that should get us to delivery as quickly as possible without any more delays. Part of that plan is weekly updates with product pictures so I can see progress being made. In speaking with them it's easy to see they mean well and aren't messing up on purpose, they aren't doing anything malicious or with bad intent. They're just a company growing real fast and into new territories and as a result are appearing incompetent.
None of this should be your problem and that's what infuriates me the most. They can give me perfectly reasonable excuses as to why things are delayed but those reasons sound hollow when I post them here for you. The fact of the matter is that we're now a whole year over the estimated delivery and every day that goes by hurts my chances of ever being able to fund another game. And with Tavernin nearing completion it hurts even more.
I'm going to think about things over the next 11 days. But, I want to hear your feedback. The biggest factor in this decision is you guys so please let me know your thoughts, concerns or suggestions.
